This was awesome! i loved all of the shots, they worked so well to convey the emotion and tell the story. It had an interesting multitude of edits as well.
Very lighthearted and funny video! Really enjoyed each shot of you changing position laying down with the time laid over each shot. Really helped emphasize the feeling of boredom.
Good job! I loved the overlay of the alarm clock on the frame. I understood that you were bored but I never felt bored by watching it. If that makes sense.
Overlaying the time from a clock was really successful in showing the time laps, it made it feel like you were really laying there for hours bored out of your mind. Jumping between clips where you move to a new position was also a really good representation.
Great!!!! the use of the alarm clock was fantastic in telling us how long you were bored. And then the humor really helped to pull the video together. It was as if when you no longer bored we were no longer bored.
The song worked very well with the video and the camera staying the same for most of the shots was perfect. The clock also was great for showing time-lapse. You kinda broke the emotion by having him not bored anymore. I feel that would have been fine though if the call ended up being bored and he went back to being bored.
This is a creative depiction of boredom. The clock device worked very well as did the jump cuts in the opening scene. I think that your music was not the best choice. It was too mellow. Some kind of music that represented a ticking clock rhythm or even a soundtrack of a clock would have worked better and fit with your theme.
I really liked how you showed the times moving with the different scenes! Also you changed the music once you got un-bored so that was interesting!
ReplyDeleteI really liked the overlay of the clock showing the time passing throughout the video!

ReplyDeleteThe overlay of the clock number was perfect for this concept, and the video was so successful for boredom. Great job!
ReplyDeleteI like that you layered the time over the video. It was a creative way of showing the time, rather than cutting back to a shot of clock.

ReplyDeleteVery good editing and as terrible as the song may have been, it definitely fit.

ReplyDeleteI loved the faded image of the clock through the images and the end was very cute
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the overlay of the time to show that time was passing. I also enjoyed the faux voices for the phone conversation.
ReplyDeletethe abrupt cut of the music really worked well as a transition point; from one mood to the next.
