Concept Summary: Say Something

The concept of this music video, Say Something by A great Big World, is a depressing one.  It is about having to part and say goodbye to something or someone that you love even though it may not be what you want.  The video shows a lot of low camera angles giving the viewer the impression of feeling small and helpless.  There are many slow zooms as to not change to mood of the video.  Also there is a good line of sight from the elderly man to the bed ridden/dying woman.

I interact with media well. having a smart phone in my pocket, surfing the web and creating art on the computer are all a large part of my everyday life.  the television is almost considered a "God" at my house due to it always being in use.  I consider myself a bit of a movie buff as well.  But as far as written media not so much.. not a big reading fan.

My three top movie choices are Forrest Gump, Hook, and The Goonies.
Any kind of media without restrictions? There are always restrictions.
I dont necessarily know if i want to pursue Graphic Design after graduation but at least Ill have a degree to get my foot in the door.
Im interested in making media because it gives me a way to express myself in other ways instead of verbally telling who I am.
